Armed Men Robs Calcutta Village Store

Two armed men held up an establishment in Calcutta Village on Sunday afternoon. According to police, the men, armed with a machete and a knife, robbed the business of an undisclosed sum of money before making good their escape.

“On Sunday the ninth day of July 2023 around three p.m. police responded to a report of a robbery in Calcutta Village. Upon their arrival, Ricky Wu, eighteen years reported that he was at the store attending to customers when he was assaulted by two male persons, one armed with a machete, the other with a knife, who proceeded to rob him. They stole an undisclosed amount of cash and made good their escape. We have reviewed a video footage and are looking for two suspects in regards to this robbery.”
