Boots Prepared for Legal Challenge in Redistricting Port Loyola
According to the retired politician, taking the Port Loyola matter to the High Court would be the best case study, considering the fact that the constituency checks all the boxes where the requirements are concerned. Anthony ‘Boots’ Martinez, Former U.D.P. Politician
“So I am saying that, for me, Port Loyola reached the threshold as the law allows it and it is in the constitution. Me noh sih nobody di bruk that up and there is no agreement fi bruk that up. So if that is the case, then I tell you, that will be challenged in the court. And that is one of the best cases to be challenged. My mandate is to get the requisite signatures and we wahn know if the people serious or not. If di people serious or not, wih noh wahn get di requisite signature. If di people dehn serious, we noh wahn get the threshold a di thing. So we noh di tek di horse before di cart and then the people, like weh ah seh to you, di people dehn neva seh to me plainly, dehn wahn Boots Martinez or dehn wahn anybody. Dehn wahn Mr. Usher o-w-t, noh o-u-t. Dehn want him out. Soh I want to be clear, and di people dehn neva tell me go talk to PUP, dehn neva tell me gaan talk to UDP.
