Fourteen Students Receive 2023 Belize Bank Scholarships

Fourteen students who will be attending high school and sixth form at the start of the new school year were awarded scholarships to institutions of their choice by the Belize Bank Limited on Friday.  The Belize Bank Scholarship Program is now in its eleventh year and includes full tuition, as well as a book grant for high school students.  Sixth form students also receive full tuition. This year’s high school scholarship recipients are: Audrina Arevalo, Makiya Wade, Victor Young, Kevin Calderon, Mackenzy August, Natanael Chuc, David Burgos Junior and Joseph Cal. The sixth form scholarship recipients are: Akeem Arnold, Ilia Ruiz, Samuel Gilharry, Emanuel Ortiz, Tiara Castillo and Sueidy Torres. The Belize Bank Limited has awarded over one hundred and sixty scholarships to Belizean students across the country. Along with financial assistance, the bank also provides mentors for these students.
