City Councillors Usher and Espejo throw tantrum

It slipped under the radar but last Friday during a caucus at City Hall two Councilors went at each other in a heated confrontation. It happened after Councilor Roger Espejo questioned a contractor about the amount of material being delivered for a project under Councilor Wayne Usher’s portfolio. Espejo asked if the Council was being cheated and if he was involved in any impropriety. The contractor denied it and left and returned an hour later and met with Councilor Usher. Usher then reportedly threw a tantrum and said he was being wrongly accused. The situation reportedly escalated but they were cooled down at the intervention of another Councilor, Dean Samuels.
