Man charged for Club Next stabbing
We have reported on a stabbing at Club Next and tonight twenty year old Vincent Galvez of Belize City is behind bars charged with the Attempted Murder of Edwin Neal. When he appeared in court today, Galvez was also charged with Dangerous Harm and the Use of Deadly Means of Harm. Bail could not be offered so Galvez will be on remand until February eighteenth.
Neal was stabbed fourteen times in his body around three-thirty in the morning on February first at the club at the Princess Hotel and Casino where a concert was taking place. It is reported that Neal was attacked by several men when a fight erupted between him and another man who had asked Neal to buy him a drink. He was taken by police to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he was admitted to ward. Galvez is represented by Attorney Dickie Bradley.
