Heavily armed police search restaurant and find seasoning

This morning as a News Five team was on Princess Margaret Drive, it spotted two police officers with semi automatic rifles at a yard. The team immediately approached the unfolding scene which they felt would reveal a harrowing tale of crime and violence. Officers were guarding, the entrance to Jambel’s Jerk Pit, a restaurant located across the street from Marina Towers, while cops were apparently conducting a search of the building. The owner, Ronda Crichton, arrived shortly after and had no clue that the search was taking place inside the business. A reporter asked Crichton if they were searching for jerk seasoning and Crichton said she would call us later to say what they found. This afternoon Crichton contacted News Five to say that a malicious person sent the police on a wild goose chase and the only thing that they found was … can you guess? A quantity of very legal jerk seasoning.
