Filming for Shyne’s Bio-doc Wrapping Up in Belize

The weeklong filming for Opposition Leader Shyne Barrow’s biography documentary is wrapping up in Belize.  As we mentioned earlier, the production crew accompanied Barrow to San Pedro this afternoon for the final leg of the shoot.  Andscape, a subsidiary of Disney, has acquired the rights to his life story and is in the process of putting together the television program.  We spoke with him just ahead of his flight to Ambergris Caye.

“Very grateful to be in a position, I think the last time you guys interviewed me here it was because I think I was doing the performance at the Maya temple for the Bad Boy reunion.  I don’t know if you remember, I think it was back in 2018.  I’m just grateful for the progress that I continue to make in my life and how I can always use whatever platform I have, whatever audience I have, to promote Belize.  And so, no matter what happens, this documentary is going to be very much promoted and marketed globally, and that means Belize will get to showcase her beauty.  And so, I am very, very pleased and satisfied with the opportunity to be able to promote and market Belize.”
