Armed Thieves Rob Puma Gas Station
A pair of armed thieves held up the employees of Puma Freetown service station on Saturday, before making off with an undisclosed sum of money. According to police, the duo arrived at the location and proceeded to relieve the gas attendants of cash at gunpoint, then entered the business and also robbed those inside of the day’s earnings.

“On Saturday, August 26th, 2023, police responded to a robbery report at the Puma Gas Station on Freetown Road. Upon their arrival, the attendants reported that two male persons came there armed with firearms, held them up, stole cash and then they proceeded into the building where they also robbed [the employees of] and undisclosed amount of cash. We are seeking two suspects in regards to this robbery.”

“Is it, we know that there has been for a long time an active checkpoint in the area, but I think that it’s not active anymore. What’s the situation there?”

“We have a checkpoint at the BelCan Bridge and there is also a security guard at the establishment, but they were all held up with firearms and they proceeded to steal some cash.”

“Have you been able to identify any suspects?”
Hilberto Romero
“Yes, we are looking for two suspects at this time.”

“Yes, from Belize City.”
