Police Say Girl, 17, Chopped Father in the Head
Police are investigating a chopping incident that has left a father hospitalized and his seventeen-year-old daughter the subject of that investigation. It happened on Tuesday afternoon in Saint Paul’s Bank, Belize District. Police say that when they arrived at the residence, they saw sixty-seven-year-old Antonio Fermin with a huge cut wound to his head. Fermin reported that he and his daughter were embroiled in a heated argument and she chopped him. Fermin is listed in a stable condition at the K.H.M.H. and the minor faces charges, pending the outcome of an investigation.
