A Post Mortem to Confirm How Randy Gorosica Died

On Sunday, the body of eighteen-year-old Randy Gorosica was discovered in southern waters where he went fishing with a group of men from the Corozal District. He messaged his mother, Rosy Gorosica to inform her that he’d return in a couple of days. But the fishing expedition went wrong. The group went on its own to fish, but when they finished and returned to their boat, Gorosica was missing. They found his dory drifting and he was not in it. Police have found his body, but they are not certain if he was murdered, like his family believes. Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams told News Five that the investigation continues.

“At this time we cannot say if he was murdered, so we will yield to whenever the postmortem is conducted and see what the doctors are going to say.”

“And the persons who were with him, the ones last seen with him, are they cooperating investigators?”

“I think that they had given statement to the police, yes. If there’s a need to re-interview them, then police is going to do so.”
