Mas Camps 2023 Underway; Prejudging Taking Place
Carnival season is in full swing and this year is set to be the biggest carnival road march in years. A total of thirteen junior and senior bands will parade through the streets of the city this Saturday, September ninth. But even before we get to the road march, there is mas camp; this was preceded by the King and Queen competition over the weekend. The mas camps started on Sunday, with a first ever entry from Maskall Village and then on Tuesday night, the city came alive as four of the remaining eight bands were prejudged.
