Caribbean Shores land dispute settled

Another issue that has now been settled is the squabble between Ministers Michael Finnegan and Carlos Perdomo. That was over a parcel of land being purchased by one of Finnegan’s Constituents, Dawn Jorguenson, and which was being taken away by Perdomo back in October. But after a public tongue lashing from Finnegan, he and the Minister of National Security have worked it out. Perdomo told us what the solution was.

“After we met in Cabinet, we kinda discussed it with our colleagues with our heads on and we decided that we would look for another lot for the person in my constituency and the lady would keep her lot. So that was solved nicely. You notice I didn’t say anything, only the other person but we solved it peacefully and the lady has her lot back.”
