Police Looking for Four Suspects in Aggravated Burglary

This afternoon, Assistant Commissioner of Police Hilberto Romero, provided an account of what transpired, informing reporters that investigators are seeking four suspects who made good their escape during the incident.

“On Monday, October 9th, 2023, around nine p.m., Aaron Pershing reported that he was in the Agua Viva area in Belmopan when he was approached by four male persons who were armed with firearms. They proceeded to tie him up and he received an injury to the cheek area. The person then proceeded to steal his 2014 Toyota Hilux and they drove in a direction. Thereafter, they saw the vehicle return and Pershing went into his house, retrieved a rifle and fired a single shot towards the vehicle after which the vehicle crashed into a palm tree. The four occupants managed to escape from the vehicle and fled into the bushes.”
