“This is the People’s House Not P Diddy’s House”, Kareem Musa

Kareem Musa

Kareem Musa, the Area Representative for Caribbean Shores also weighed in on the debate. He, like the Prime Minister, also reflected on days in the past when the People’s United Party was in opposition and how its members were treated in the House of Representative. In the same vein, Musa took a jab at Barrow, reminding him that these debates are held in the house of the people and not P Diddy’s house.

Kareem Musa, Area Representative, Caribbean Shores

“The honorable member for Cayo South and me endured all sorts of attacks and assaults. The member for Belize Rural Central, I don’t know how far your memory goes back. I don’t know if you were paying attention from prison, but the member form Belize Rural Central was the subject of harshest of attacks from the member for Mesopotamia. And nothing from your side and you come here with this double speak as you always do. And, yes it can be argued that we all signed up for the hurly burly of politics and we should not be insulting the women in the honorable house. I want to remind you member you, you are no longer in that bad boy life. This house that the people’s house. Just always remember that. We on this side want to see you continue as leader. You the make it hard for we, cause you got the member saying you the cross the floor. Got me nervous, because I say we need this man to be leader into the next election. We will give you that support but work with me, work with me, and apologize and remember this dah nuh P Diddy house, this dah the people’s house.”
