San Pedro’s First Annual Halloween Themed Market Day
Vendors, artisans and craftsmen in San Pedro will have an opportunity to earn a little extra cash next Friday at the island’s first annual Halloween-themed market day. As Mayor of San Pedro told us, it’s an event that will create economic activity for small and new entrepreneurs while providing entertainment for the residents and children who are into Halloween. And if the past market days were any indication, this first-of-a-kind event should be grand.
Wally Nunez, Mayor, San Pedro
“We have done market days since we took office because we see it useful. As a means of, um, getting all these new entrepreneurs, new business owners to come out and showcase their business, right, especially women, because our first Women in Business Expo was very successful. And that’s where we had a lot of women that started their business during the COVID and then from there on, we started to do the market days and the market days became very popular because it gives a little opportunity for people to get a little income in these slow times, right? So we’re planning on the Halloween Market Day, which we will also have an area which would be for kids, like different activities for kids on that specific day, which should be next week Friday.”
