“Yellow” charged for attempted murder of Jermaine Belgrave
Also in the court, a Belize City man was charged in connection with one of the latest shooting incidents in the old capital. Twenty-eight year old Michael Henry, also known as Yellow, was arraigned for the Attempted Murder of Jermaine Belgrave, who was shot on the left shoulder on Saturday morning. Belgrave was reportedly standing at the corner of Orange and West Streets around eleven-thirty when someone opened fire on him from inside a vehicle. Henry was remanded to the Hattieville prison pending a preliminary inquiry in January 2010 because the matter is indictable and may go to the Supreme Court for trial.
