Will Kevin Arthurs Remain as C.E.O. in the Ministry of Home Affairs?
Will Kevin Arthurs remain as C.E.O. in the Ministry of Home Affairs? Come next month, the three-year contracts for Chief Executive Officers are to expire, but is Arthurs contemplating a return to legal practice? Today, when the media caught up with Minister Kareem Musa, he was asked if he is losing his wing man in the Ministry of Home Affairs and New Growth Industries.
Kareem Musa, Minister of Home Affairs
“You might know all C.E.O. contracts are coming up for renewal, I think in November of this year; it marks the three-year anniversary, but I haven’t heard that as yet.”

“Do you know if he is planning to renew his contract?”
Kareem Musa
“I now that the C.E.O. had intimated to me upon taking on this very important role that it would be a huge pay deduction for him, because as you know he is an attorney at law. And so, he assured me that he could only give me three years in the first instance so it is quite possible that he might not be renewing. I think there always has to be a succession plan in any ministry, in any department and especially ours at home affairs, so of course there has to be that consideration.”
