Police Seeking 2 Residents in Hattieville Double Murder Investigation

It’s been exactly one week since the bodies of farmer Joel Andrews and his workman were discovered in a pond on his farm in Hattieville. The farmhand was chopped multiple times while Andrews was shot. Investigators believe that the double murder was motivated by a robbery. In an update today, Commissioner of Police Chester Williams says that there are two persons of interest and they are also from Hattieville.

“From what the investigators uncovered on the scene, it would appear that the motive would have been robbery. We have also discussed with certain people who may be privy to some information prior to that double murder and again from what we are getting from them, robbery was certainly the motive. At this time, we are looking for two individuals; we have not been able to locate them, but we believe that they can assist our investigation. One of those persons, I think, is Blake Lewis and I can’t remember the name of the other male person right now, but I know he goes by the nickname “Oats.”  But those are the two persons that we are looking for that we believe can assist us with that investigation.”
