Two men convicted for rape of PG woman
While two men have been freed of a conviction in Mexico, two men are facing life time imprisonment for the murder of Punta Gorda resident, Cruz Sho, who was raped and brutally murdered at her common-law husband’s home in Lords Bank over two years ago. Late this evening, Lindsdale Franklin and Ryan Herrera were convicted of Murder after the jury deliberated for four hours and came to a unanimous decision. Their fates will be determined on December tenth, when Justice Michelle Arana will announce her decision. A third person, nineteen year old Ervin Franklin was also accused in the heinous crime, but testified for the prosecution in the trial and was granted immunity. He said that on March fifteenth 2007, he was taken to the home of Eldon Chiac, Sho’s common-law husband. According to Ervin, Sho was tied up and his uncle, Lindsdale, and cousin, Ryan, took turns raping her before she was stabbed to the abdomen and neck. While Ervin was only a spectator in his account of the incident, Ryan claimed that Ervin and Lindsdale committed the crime. Lindsdale, on the other hand, simply denied being connected to the incident when he testified.
