Breaking news: 1 of Americas Most Wanted captured in Belize

There is a report that a convicted sex offender who was wanted in the U.S. has been apprehended in Belize. Robert Snyder, who has been in Belize since August of 2008 and has been acting as a chess instructor, was apprehended after a Saturday night feature on America’s Most Wanted. What’s worrying is that the convicted child sex offender was working as a chess instructor at various primary schools in Belize under the alias Auguste Rios and is married to a police officer. Snyder was first arrested in Colorado in the US in 2005, was convicted and began serving his sentence in January of 2007, but he was released in 2008 on probation and skipped town. That was when he showed up in Belize. Before that, he also sported himself as a highly skilled chess instructor in the U.S.
