BDF Demoted for 2019 Shooting of Another Soldier

In 2019, a B.D.F. sergeant shot a fellow soldier at Fairweather Camp. It was a matter that was still pending from then until about a month ago, when his case was called up. Since then, that sergeant has been dealt with and according to B.D.F. Commandant, Azariel Loria, the soldier has been demoted in rank.

“He was tried by the then General Ortega. For some reason, the documentation didn’t end up where it ought – or where it was intended to be. But then, about a month ago, we started to research what disciplinary cases we have that are still pending. We found out that he was one of them. And indeed, he was recommended to be reduced in rank. He was not by then, so he has now been reduced in rank.”
