Marion Ali, Reporting
At two-thirty-one this afternoon, two youths were picked on one of the company’s six cameras, as they approached the building from an alley off Baymen Avenue. Once inside, the youths wasted no time to produce their weapons and to order the customers to lie on the floor in one of the isles. One of them helped himself to the security guard’s stun gun and cell phone while the other ordered the store owner and manager, Mrs. Sosa, to hand over all the cash. The whole incident from start to finish, lasted a terrifying four minutes, as the gunman, shown wearing a black cloth over his face, made the owner empty everything that contained money at the cashier’s desk. When it was all over, the two thieves had relieved the business of about three thousand dollars before making their way out the same front door through which they entered. GS-COM could not confirm if either of the two had been inside the business before today, but say they will be enhancing their security features to prevent future hold-ups. Police do not have any suspects detained at present but are pursuing a few leads. Reporting for News Five, Marion Ali.
