Dean Barrow Doesn’t Support Israel in Ongoing Middle East Conflict

Dean Barrow

Former Prime Minister Dean Barrow has gone on record to condemn the actions of Israel in response to the October seventh attacks.  While he equally criticized the deadly assaults by Hamas, Barrow, the father, has made it clear that Israel has to be held responsible for the war crimes being committed against innocent Palestinians.

Dean Barrow, Former Prime Minister

“Israel absolutely refuses to listen to anyone.  I think that anybody with an ounce of humanity, not just humanitarianism, of humanity that cannot see their way to condemning Israel to make clear that they ought to be held to account for war crimes, in the same way as Hamas for what they did, ought to be held to account.  Anybody who is not prepared to do that, I think, is completely missing some element that ought to be in the DNA of all human beings.  But speaking for myself, I absolutely abhor what’s going on.  It’s something that rings for me as, I think for most people, an extreme emotional reaction.  It’s just horrific to witness day after day, in terms of the images we see, this slaughter of Palestinians, the attacks on hospitals, on schools, on necessary infrastructure, ambulances, refugee camps.  That ought to be completely and unmitigatedly condemned.”
