Rodman Welch Stands Trial for Murder
Thirty-seven-year-old Rodman Welch, accused of the murder of Shakeem Dennison on October twelfth, 2020, appeared before Justice Nigel Pilgrim today after a no case submission was rejected. This afternoon at one o’clock, Welch was made to answer to the charge of murder. In his sworn testimony, the accused told the court that he was at home on the day in question and proceeded to give an explanation of his whereabouts and what transpired. Crown Counsel Riis Cattouse from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is leading the case, while Rodman Welch is being represented by attorney Orson “OJ” Elrington.
