Police Confirm Jordan Waight’s Murder as Gang-Related Hit
On Thursday morning, shortly after nine o’clock, shots were fired on Barbara Harris Street, formerly known as Holy Emmanuel Street. When the gunfire subsided, twenty-four-year-old Jordan Waight, who also goes by the name Jordan Burns, lay mortally wounded in a pool of blood. According to police, the execution may have been the result of an internal feud that is playing out within the BLC gang which controls that area.
A.C.P Hilberto Romero, Regional Commander, Eastern Division
“On Thursday, November 23rd, police visited Holy Emmanuel Street where they saw the lifeless body of Jordan Waight with multiple gunshot injuries. Information is that Jordan Waight was walking in the area when he was approached by a lone gunman who fired several shots towards his direction. He was taken to the KHMH where he was pronounced dead on arrival. We are seeking one suspect in regards to this investigation.”

“I believe there was another shooting, well shots were fired in the same area, nobody was injured. So are police upping their presence in that area?”
Hilberto Romero
“Yes, we have deployed additional persons to that area to prevent any retaliation.”
