Thieves Target and Rob Security Guard on the Job

A security guard was robbed while on duty at a store in San Ignacio also on Thursday night. Two men, armed with a gun, accosted the guard and then robbed him. But the robbers didn’t just flee, they shot him, leaving him severely injured. But police investigations have led to the arrest of the two suspects as the security guard, Kenrick Nunez is in a stable condition.

“On the 30th day of November 2023, police responded to a shooting at B&J Store in San Ignacio.  Upon arrival, they found one, Kenrick Nunez with gunshot injuries.  He was taken to the hospital where he is admitted in a stable condition. Information is that Nunez was doing security duties at B&J Store when he was approached by a male person with a firearm who demanded something from him. A struggle ensued after which the person shot Nunez and fled from the area. An investigation was carried out, persons were detained and as a result, Alexis Quiroz was arrested and charged for the crime of attempted murder, dangerous harm and use of deadly means of harm and Brandon Cho, 22 years [old] was arrested for the crime of conspiracy to commit robbery.”
