Gimme Five Grand Prize Winner is a Nurse

For all of last week, Channel Five fans and supporters took part in the annual Gimme Five show where winners won great prizes. It was Channel Five’s thirty-third anniversary and Gimme Five is a prize-giving show that we have been airing for all these years, giving our viewers a chance to take home valuable gifts. Today, the big winner is a nurse and she came to collect her prizes, including a fifty-five inch television. Windy Joseph told us how it played out for her.

“So when they started to list what you had won, what went through you?”

Windy Joseph

“I honestly, I never hear everything fully. I had to go back and watch the live. And I got excited all over again. The only thing I heard clearly was that I got a 55 inch TV. That’s what I heard. But everything else I had to re-watch the live and so what all did, what all did you win? I got a 55 inch TV. I got a gift certificate for a two-night stay from Naia’s. I got a teeth-cleaning from Smile, I think, and a gift package from Grace. I got a cleaning package, I got a wine set from Madisco. I got an Air Force tennis. I got a lot of nice stuff and I got $500 cash.”

“I’m seeing a slow cooker, I’m seeing a food hamper as well.”

“I got a gift certificate for a ham and a turkey. Me and my co worker, we came here and we got the tickets. We filled them out right here, cut them out and put them in the box. And the Friday I was watching it at home and my phone went dead. My dad started to watch regular TV, and like, later in the night, I turned on my phone, like, ten, and a little bit after that, like ten minutes after, I got a call from an unknown number, and I said, well, it only could be Gimme Five and I just said, Gimme Five and I won.”
