Citizens make resolutions for the New Year
It’s the start of the New Year and invariably that means new expectations and goals for the year ahead. Some persons set out to lose weight, others want to buy a new car, or go to church and still others simply want good health. News Five hit downtown Albert Street and found out that there is a mixed bag of New Year resolutions for 2010.
Citizen # 1
“Well I don’t have much changes to make because I keep the rules. So maybe whatever changes I do, will be something that I find out later—if I make a change any at all.”
Citizen # 2
“Lose weight and be a better husband.”
Citizen # 3
“Haven’t worked on it yet, but be a better friend and that’s basically it. Season greetings everyone and you guys too.”

“Go back to church.”

“No because we make changes every day. So we noh have no New Year change.”

“All mi changes right now, fi di New Year. I want di New Year change mi life, fi put mi back pan mi foot. Like how I just get back inna mi new home fi Christmas, di new year. I feel so thrilled, thank God fi dat.”

“There is so much, I noh know which one fi tell you about now. I would just like to continue being a Christian and praising God.”

“Besides wealth, good health, lots of love and happiness and I wish the entire Belize a happy, happy New Year.”

“I noh really make none as yet because every year I just follow one trend and noh really change up things like so and that.”
