Police Have No Leads in Murder of Leslie Young Jr.
Tonight, Belize City police are no closer to catching up with the individual who ruthlessly pursued and gunned down nineteen-year-old Leslie Young Junior in the wee small hours of Friday morning. Young was leaving an establishment on Newtown Barracks when someone began following him. The unnamed gunman then opened fire in Young’s direction. Despite an attempt to flee from his attacker, Young was fatally injured and fell dead near the Mexican Institute. With no leads, the Belize Police Department is stumped and time is running out to apprehend a suspect.
