Josue Sic Charged for Sexual Assault of Minor

Forty-five-year-old Josue Sic stands accused of a heinous act involving a five-year-old girl.  It is alleged that on Sunday, December seventeenth, the laborer of a Holy Emmanuel Street address intentionally touched the infant.  According to the child’s father, he was socializing with Sic and when he got hungry, he left to purchase food somewhere in the neighborhood.  The father asked Sic to look after his three kids who were asleep inside the house.  He went on to state that when he arrived at the store it was closed and so he returned home.  When he got home, he did not see Sic anywhere in the yard and thought that he had left.  When the father entered the house, he allegedly found Sic lying on the floor next to his children’s bed and also noticed that the little girl’s underwear had been removed and the bed sheet which she was covered in had been removed.  He later informed police that he observed a sticky substance on his daughter’s leg and therefore called 911 for assistance.  Josue Sic was subsequently detained and charged for sexual assault.  Notwithstanding the allegations made against him, Sic was offered bail in the sum of three thousand dollars, plus one surety of the same amount.
