Christmas Day Shooting Leaves Man Injured
Forty-one-year-old Carlton Belisle was shot on Christmas Day. The mechanic from Hattieville Village was at his residence in the village when he was attacked. Belisle says that he was exiting his latrine when someone he knows appeared and fired several shots at him. He was injured to his leg and is recovering. Assistant Commissioner of Police Hilberto Romero shared more details today.

“On Monday, police responded to a shooting in Hattieville Village. Upon their arrival they found Cartlon Belisle with gunshot injuries. He reported that he was at home when he heard several bangs that sounded like gunshots and realized that he had been hit. He was taken to the KHMH where he was treated and is in stable condition. We are seeking two persons in regards to this shooting. We do not have a motive. We are doing several searches in the area. A following is being done to try to establish what transpired that led to this shooting.”
