Ladyville police Formation bring Christmas cheer to 100 kids

Story PictureThere were some smiling faces in Ladyville this evening and they belonged to young police cadets and the children of police officers stationed in Ladyville and Lord’s Bank. Over a hundred little ones attended a party, courtesy the Ladyville Police Station, the Police Coalition Committee and the Ladyville business community. Officer Commanding the Ladyville Police Station, Inspector Calbert Flowers says the event serves as motivation for both officers and their children.

“It’s year it’s a bit bigger. We got some better prizes and better gifts and these police officers work hard all year round so we are rewarding them and their children with a party and giving them a nice gift for the holiday.”

Each child received a gift and two of them were lucky enough to win bicycles in time for Christmas. The event has been a tradition for several years now.
