“Aside from denouncing the draft policy as it is, what course of action or measure can be taken on your part, as the TAA? Is this something that perhaps you can have your lawyers look at? Is this something where you would have to go about your own form of advocacy or resistance, if that were the case?”
On the phone: Cristina Coc, Spokesperson, TAA
“At this point, we have not received full instructions from our communities. Our immediate responsibility is to let the communities know what is being proposed in this policy.”

“Is there any other concern regarding any other aspect of the policy beyond what you have identified?”
Cristina Coc
“At this moment, this is the main concern that we have and of course we are going to, as you suggest, take a more in-depth look at every detail of this new proposed policy, but at this point this is the big ticket issue. This is the broadest issue that we have with it.”
