Kareem Fisher Charged For Throwing Dynamites At Officers
Christmas 2023 has come and gone, but not without its share of mishaps. On December twenty-fourth, around ten thirty a.m., a female police officer reported that she and another female officer had been attacked by a group of men with dynamites. The officer claimed that she and her colleague were working at a police booth on the morning of Christmas Eve when they were approached by a group of men. She stated that she recognized one of the men to be twenty-two-year-old Kareem Fisher, a Belize City businessman currently out on bail for the charge of being a member of a gang. The officer alleges that as the group of men approached the booth, Fisher suggested that he and his associates begin lighting the explosives, soon after which, they began throwing them inside the booth. For this, Fisher was charged with two counts of aggravated assault. He initially pleaded guilty, but would later dispute the claims of the charge and an unequivocal plea of not guilty was entered on his behalf. This morning, Fisher appeared unrepresented before a senior magistrate and was granted a bail of two thousand dollars with a surety of the same amount under the conditions that Fisher does not interfere with virtual complainants, witnesses, or their family members. He is also not to be within fifty feet of the victims.
