Safiyyah finds pre-Christmas entertainment
The weekend is here and Safiyyah has a full blotter. Take a pick from the variety of activities available: from a Christian concert, to bruk down bash, to a night with Sean Paul.
Hey I’m Safiyyah and this is What’s Happening Belize?
Tonight in Orange Walk Club Hi-5 will be having a bash called “See I Rise” featuring none other than Mr. Program. This super hype party will also feature DJ Busch as well as DJ Dynasty and DJ Rabs. The club will kick off at ten p.m.
In Orange Walk on Saturday night there will be a different type a party going on. This fun event will be the International Christian Concert. This Concert of worship will feature international artists like Jah Souljaz, Maribel Moralez, Genisis and many others. This event will begin at seven p.m. at the Orange Walk People’s Stadium.
Down south in Hopkins Village during the day on Saturday there will be an all day beach bash. This Bash will run from twelve p.m. to six p.m. There will be lots of food and drinks on sale and lots of games you can join in on. There will also be performances by Aziatic, New Rebels, Vida, Stamina and many more. So you can head over to North Beach in Hopkins and check out the Punta Rock Beach Bash.
Here in the city on Saturday the will be good ole Belizean fun happening at the House of Culture. The day will begin at noon with the Kriol Craft and Food Expo, where you will be able to pick up lots of great food, drinks and other goodies. Then the day will continue on into the evening with the Bruk Down Competition and Bram. And you’ll definitely wanna stick around for that. So go and check that out on Saturday.
Also on Saturday, the Santa Elena R.C School will be presenting a Christmas special called “Teachers Got Talent” this will be held inside the convention center at six-thirty. The teachers will be putting on their best acts, so if you can go out and see it.
If you’re looking for a place to go dining this weekend then you can check out Celebrity Restaurant. They’re starting a new special where with twenty-five dollars you can get a meal, a dessert and a drink. This is an ongoing special so check it out.
