Big Tom Charged for Possession of Crack Pipe
Kenneth “Big Tom” Flowers has been convicted for possession of a pipe used for smoking crack cocaine. The well-known street figure appeared unrepresented in the Magistrate’s Court earlier today where he was read single charge of possession of a pipe. Flowers wasted no time and pleaded guilty to the offense. A non-custodial sentence in the form of a three hundred dollar fine was imposed Flowers who has been given until April fifteenth to pay the charge. On Wednesday, police in Lake Independence were doing a routine patrol on Oleander Street when they came across Flowers riding a bicycle. The officers stopped him and conducted a search of his person. During the frisk, the officers discovered a metal pipe measuring two and a half inches in length. He was grasping the pipe while having his hands up over his head.
