Fifty More Businesses Ticketed for Violations

A second round of establishment inspections carried out by the Supplies Control Unit of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise has concluded and as many as fifty businesses have been issued with tickets for violations of the existing regulations.  These establishments were identified in thirty-four locations across the country, including six in Belize City, namely, Amin Supermarket on Queen Street, Dollar Grocery on Water Lane, J&N Supermarket on Queen Street, Ming Al Supermarket in the Gungulung area, Highway Store in Bella Vista Estate and two others.  These stores have been ticketed for failure to display price, as well as selling items above the controlled price.  Over the two rounds of inspections, a total of one hundred and nine establishments have been found in violation.
