Four Charges for Blake Lewis

Blake Lewis

On Friday, we reported on the capture of twenty-five-year-old Blake Lewis who was wanted by police in connection with a double murder in Hattieville.  While Commissioner of Police Chester Williams commented on the incident, earlier today Lewis appeared before the lower court where he was arraigned on two of four charges and remanded to prison.  Here’s more from Assistant Commissioner of Police Hilberto Romero.

“Reference the aggravated assault report that occurred on Thursday in Hattieville, we have since arrested and charged Blake Lewis for the crimes of attempted murder, discharging a firearm in public, aggravated assault and possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition. On Saturday February 10th, 2024, around 3:30 p.m. Julian Xin, thirty-eight-years old Chinese businessman of Xaibe Village, Orange Walk District, reported that he was inside his store when he was approached by two male persons who were armed with firearms. Thereafter, the male persons held him up and they stole an undisclosed amount of money and made good their escape.  We have no suspects at this time.”
