Wilfred Peters admitted to K.H.M.H.

14-jan-10-7The king of brukdong Wilfred Peters sat down with William and I last December on Open Your Eyes as a featured guest of the 2009 Brukdong Competition. But his health has been failing and Mister Peters has been hospitalized for the past two weeks. Peters, a diabetic, was admitted to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital on New Year’s Eve for hypertension and a touch of asthma. But the musical legend was also suffering with a painful abscess on his inner thigh that was affecting his everyday movement. On Tuesday Peters underwent surgery and today the prognosis is good for the seventy-eight year old artist. News Five spoke with Peters’ son, Wilfred Junior, who spoke on behalf of his father.
