Man arraigned on Attempted Murder for Orange Walk shooting

And an Orange Walk resident, twenty year Darrel Berry spent Christmas Day in the hospital after he was shot several times in the wee hours of December twenty-fourth. And now the man police believe shot Berry, is spending time in the Hattieville Prison until he has his day in court. Twenty-seven year old Kareem Barona was arraigned today on charges of Attempted Murder, Use of Deadly Means of Harm and Dangerous Harm in the court of Magistrate Sharon Frazer. Barona allegedly fired several shots at Berry as he walked on Castle in Orange Walk Town. Berry was hospitalized with several gunshot wounds. No plea was taken from Barona and his court date was set for February twenty-fifth.
