Stabbing incident lands eighteen year old before Magistrate

Mark Usher Jr.

Also in the Magistrate’s Court, a student who has been in police custody since last Thursday was charged for stabbing twenty year old Giovanni Abraham with a knife. Eighteen year old Mark Anthony Usher Junior was taken to court and slapped with charges of Dangerous Harm and Use of Deadly Harm. The incident occurred sometime around nine-thirty last Thursday night at the corner of Fabers and Dykes Roads where according to Abraham, he got into a misunderstanding with Usher Junior and that’s when he was stabbed. No plea was taken and Usher was offered bail of five thousand dollars plus two sureties of two thousand five hundred dollars which he met late this evening. Magistrate Sharon Frazer ordered Usher to stay away from Abraham.  And if he fails, his bail will be revoked and he will be remanded to the Hattieville Prison. Usher is due back before the court on March fourth.
