Channel 5’s concert for Andy and Haiti kicks off tonight

And this is it! Channel Five’s benefit concert for Haiti and tribute to Andy Palacio is about to launch right outside at our Coney Drive Yard.  The weather is clear; the artists have lined up, and the musicians have tuned their instruments to give each note the perfection that the late Andy would have demanded of his own band.  A night of unforgettable performances will be showcased by Umalali, the Garifuna Collective with Lloyd Augustine and Paul Nabor, Super G and the Danger Zone Band. In addition to the music a lucky concert goer will win a thirty inch stove, courtesy of Tropigas Limited.  It’s time to come out to Coney Drive but if you can’t, you can watch our “Tribute to Andy Palacio and Hope for Haiti” live, starting at eight p.m., right here on Five.
