In recent days two US nationals William Jewett Junior and Martin Petrella, have been before the courts for their immigration status. Today, a Honduran National, who was caught by Ladyville police in the Lord’s Bank Area, finally appeared in court after four days in custody. Forty-four year old Whilman Oswald Bowden, pleaded guilty to Disembarking a Boat in Belize Without the Consent of An Immigration Officer.  Bowden was fined one thousand dollars. But while he was able to pay the fine forthwith, he remains in custody pending an investigation into the boat, which officials of the Customs and Police Department believe was stolen.
