Firefighter caught with uncustomed goods

A routine check by an alert cop on duty yielded a find of uncustomed goods from an unlikely place. Around eleven Sunday morning, a police officer boarded a Venus Bus at Orange Walk Town en route to Belize City. while in the bus, the officer spotted a knapsack on a seat and when he approached the owner, the man declined to say what was in the bag. When the cop searched the knapsack he discovered five one litre bottles of Absolut Vodka, nine cartons of Lucky Gold Cigarettes and twenty small packs of cigarettes of the same brand. The knapsack belonged to twenty-four year old fire-fighter, Alex Evan Palacio of Santa Rita Road, Corozal Town. Palacio was escorted to Belize City and handed over to a Customs examiner.
