Seventeen year old shot to the back of his neck in front of his home

A Belize City youth was shot this afternoon.  The victim, a minor, was in his own neighborhood when he was gunned down just before two o’clock.  Seventeen year old Luis Kerr was sitting on the sidewalk directly across from his home on Curassow Street when his assailant shot him with one bullet to the back of his neck.  His family members were shook up and distraught as one of Kerr’s brothers, Shawn Clother, was murdered a few years ago also at the age of seventeen. The only witness in that case, Robert Flowers, died before trial began. Kerr’s uncle and neighbor today spoke to News Five off camera.
