Grace Kennedy employee wanted for missing $50,000
Police are seeking an employee of Grace Kennedy for questioning. According to the company’s finance manager, between June and October 2008 accounts manager Leon Staine collected over fifty thousand dollars from several customers and did not turn the money over to the company. The financial discrepancies came to the attention of the company back in October and they fired Staine and began auditing his accounts. It was not until much later that they realised the magnitude of the missing funds and filed a report with the police who have now picked up the investigation.
