City home destroyed in late evening fire
Just before news time, a blaze has left a single woman homeless. The small wooden structure at number twenty-four Baracat Street caught fire after the woman, Joyce McClaren, left home for work. Fire fighters on the scene told News Five that they got the call just after five-thirty this evening. Nothing was salvaged in the blaze and McClaren is yet to be located.
