Second suspect charged in murder of Bowen employee

Story PictureLast Tuesday, forty-four year old Elvis Duncan was shot while trying to escape from police… but after recuperating at the Belmopan Hospital, on Monday, the Elridge Village resident was recovered enough to be arraigned in court. Duncan is believed to be one of three perpetrators in a robbery and murder involving two Bowen and Bowen employees in San Ignacio. He was charged with Murder, Attempted Murder, Robbery, Maim, Use of Deadly Means of Harm, two counts of Kept Unlicensed Firearm, and two counts of Kept Unlicensed Ammunition. Duncan’s partners in crime are believed to be Delan Parham of Santa Elena, who has been charged with the same offences and Arden Garoy of Elridge Village in the Toledo District, who is still recovering from his injuries at the K.H.M.H. The trio are accused of killing Josiah Thompson and shooting Millard Tun in a robbery attempt as the Bowen and Bowen employees were about to make a deposit at the Belize Bank’s night deposit box. Tun, who was wounded to the head and arm, is still recovering from his injuries at Belize Healthcare Partners.
