Corrington Villanueva shot while playing poker

But before Polanco was targeted, twenty-seven year old Corrington Villanueva of Hattieville was shot several times near the taxi stand at the entrance of the Western Highway. Villanueva was enjoying a Friday evening game of poker with some friends when the gunman walked up a shot blasted him with a bullet to the left side of his chest, the left side of his back and one that grazed his face. The cops found Villanueva in the trauma room of the K.H.M.H. after the incident and he told them how he was ambushed.

“Again, police responded and they went to the K.H.M.H. where they saw Mr. Villanueva with multiple gunshot wounds. Initial investigations revealed that he was at a taxi stand playing a card game along with other male persons when a dark complexion male person approached them and fired shots. Mr. Villanueva was hit. Again, he is listed in stable condition at the K.H.M.H. there is one person, a suspect in custody pending investigation.”

“At the time, investigators are checking and seeing what they can gather, but again I can’t reveal any information pertaining to what they have gathered so far at this time.”
