Fifty thousand dollars robbed from Brodies at Free Zone
And burglars in Corozal hit the mother load when they broke into the Brodie’s Warehouse in the Free Zone. Store Manager, twenty-five year old Hensleigh Jones, reported to police that sometime between five-fifteen p.m. on December thirty-first and the morning of January second someone gained access to the premises. Once inside the thief or thieves made their way to an iron safe, cut the locks, and took fifty thousand dollars in U.S. and Belizean currency. Police say there were no signs of forced entry into the building and suspecting an inside job, questioned three employees, who were later released without being charged.
